I don't know what it means when someone says the Company is going dark. The pink sheets, according to the research I have done, do not require any financial information.
I understand that the OTC market place could do something indicating that there is limited info available. However, that may or may not effect the price or quote for the security. However, I am not nor have I ever been a market maker, so I don't know how that works.
Some people on the board have indicated the stock could go on the gray market. That is not something that the OTC Market Place does.
What I have found is that a stock is moved to the grey market if
the SEC suspends the security or FINRA issues a halt, which is the most common. If a security is suspended or halted for more than 4 days, then the security will drop to the Grey Market and broker-dealer will need to file a new form 211 with FINRA in order to resume quotation or;
The broker-dealer(s) currently quoting the security pull their quotation voluntarily for more than 4 days. The same circumstances apply in terms of filing a new 211
As I have indicated, the above is from public filings and, meadow2009 does not recommend buying or selling this or any other stock. Always do your own due diligence.
