I agree with you that stocks can and do stay listed on NYSE even when they are lower than $1 for a long time. I used to invest in TMTA (a really awesome chip company back in the day) and they were in and out of the $1 mark for years.

it takes some pretty exceptional circumstances for a delisting to happen but one thing is for sure..

a Delisting notice does cause panic in the market. I've seen that happen so many times and its usually the panic selling that causes a company to reverse split (if they do at all).

but I really don't see that as a possibility for VRNG unless they get rejected by both SCOTUS and the en Banc appeal. end even then I think they would still need one last hit of bad news before they went over the edge..

just my opinion ofcourse.
