I have learned after a long many years of investing in pinkies that patience is a virtue. Sure, a trite statement yet very relevant.

start-ups are a dime a dozen. I have heard that as high at 95% bite the dust in less than 2 years. So...I invest in those that have been around longer...to include name changes.

I do my DD as best that can be expected in this pink gambling club. Little facts and LOTS of speculation. Not really much use even in determining fundamentals.

Soooo....I look at their arena, see if I see promise of sustainability, competitive edge (patents or holdings) or I like the style and actions of their management...if so, I am in.

I'm in until I profit OR I am in until death. What I gamble with I can lose (don't want to mind you). GRPR fills the bill. Staying to the end or satisfying my desire for profit is the only options. Selling out to put 'dead money' to work in other pinkies is out of the question.
