CTI BioPharma Corp Announces Name Change
SEATTLE, Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --CTI BioPharma Corp -- announced today that the company will be changing its name to Hair Therapeutics, ticker symbol, HLBH, short for Hair, Long Beautiful Hair, effective immediately. This change is being made as the company focus has evolved, from developing its JAK2 inhibitor Pacritinib for treating myelofibrosis and other blood disorders, to curing hair follicle deficiencies (HFD). With an estimated 35 million Americans suffering from HFD, the addressable market is estimated at some $350b per year in the U.S. alone.
