My personal view is the ore body isnt economically viable, hence the lack of interest in funding.

As much as people seem to think all it takes is grade and the size of the ore body to make a resource project viable, this is simply not the case. Met work needs to demonstrate you can extract enough of the end product FeNb concentrate in this case, and the CAPEX and OPEX based on the depth of the mining also needs to be considered.

then you give that (first pass) information to private equity and try to get them to commit funds to develop, refine and further de-risk the project.

I think the met work has been the stumbling block...
