Not all pump and dumps, but as a respected trader recently opined on another ticker that also took a beating Friday, "All these companies want to do is just use us to pay off their convertibles."

IMO that's the game down here. Companies use an idea and a dream to secure convertible note financing, then those financiers transfer that risk ASAP to the masses through strategic and well-orchestrated dilution. If the dream becomes a reality, investors may win big, but usually it doesn't, and they don't.

Anyone who claims a wholehearted belief that a particular ticker or CEO is different is, IMO, either completely delusional or being paid to say so.
