VRNG will request an en banc hearing with CAFC. IF that is granted, there is a chance the outcome could change. IF an en banc hearing is refused, VRNG will appeal to SCOTUS. IF there is an en banc hearing and VRNG again loses, VRNG will appeal to SCOTUS. IF the en banc opinion favors VRNG, provided an en banc appeal is granted, GOOG will appeal to SCOTUS. One way or the other this will go to the Supremes, IMO.

Meanwhile, money from GOOG is off the table.

This ruling today does not affect the ongoing ZTE litigation.
