Aging and MANF

I am starting to believe that MANF type compounds may help the body regenerate tissues such as heart, muscle, etc, if they were somehow administered safely to the human body by IV or other procedures, for example.

From the time we were born to old age the number of complete cell exchanges in our body decreases with age, with the greatest number of complete cell exchanges occurring from birth to when we become a teenager.

If it is correct that MANF is found in higher concentration in a child vs. an adult, it seems that this is related in some way to our growth/aging process.

If further work by AMBS shows that other cells and various organs can be caused to increase thereby replacing older or dead cells, it would seem that our various organs should have a longer life expectancy.

If over the coming months and year this should be proven out through their research, the value of AMBS should skyrocket, if the company isn't taken over before this happens.

Can you imagine if these compounds can be safely administered to people who do not have a disease or maybe if there had been cell damage, to help those locations function better thereby extending human life?

These are my own personal views on this subject, based on limited information about MANF. It may be completely right, completely wrong, or somewhere in between.
