Nanotech Entertainment, which owns the UltraFlix 4K Ultra HD network for subscribers, is in the process of releasing a wide selection of remastered pristine 4K content to its subscribers thanks to the work of its subsidiary, 4K Studios.
The films and other content being recreated in 4K format by the company include 11 concerts, music videos from AC/DC, Justin Bieber and Madonna, over a dozen performing arts films, 19 sports event videos, 2 horror films and roughly 350 hours of sci-fi, action comedy and drama movies.
According to Roger Riegel of NanoTech’s content advisory board, “By bringing in a diverse offering of popular genres into stunning digital 4K UHD, audiences will have an opportunity to experience these titles as the producers have always intended.”
NanotTech’s Nuvola NP-1, which comes loaded with UltraFlix and other social and streaming applications, will be able to stream content to users in 4K Ultra HD, Full HD, SD and even 3D formats. The NP-1 is based on the very powerful Nvidia Integra 4 processing chip and uses the latest Android OS 4.4 for its application management interface.
