This is what I think has been happening to CAPC for awhile...Someone buys at the lows of the day...then they help pump the stock up...waiting until the bids fill the gap between the bid and ask...all this person is interested in is making some money each day...so lets say someone owns 800k shares and has cash on hand to buy more at the lows...as the bids build through out the day he is selling and as he is selling he is also spoofing the bid price...now as he is selling...and showing large amounts on the ask the bid price drops to his predetermined buy order...and he just keeps the cycle going over and over...since we have hardly any volume he can just keep doing this over and over and over...until we receive some good news that takes his ask price out and can establish new highs...as I said yesterday...CAPC has very few investors in my opinion...and that can be a two edged sword...meaning that when the market fizzles CAPC may not be influenced since there are so few investors...but on the other hand it can be easily manipulated...
