Persid's are here, The peak for observing meteors is Aug 11th thru the aug 17th.
I was out tonight for only a short time around 9:45pm, and saw a Great one that tracked 110 to 120-Degrees across a 40 degree-angle facing northwest. Visable for nearly 4-5 seconds, LONG-Tail that left some minute glowing fragments that kinda dribbled-down from the track of it's passage.
