Hmm, think you're off regarding grow houses (see below), but not the store sale. It was apparent to me immediately that the Hydro-Grow Supply store purchase fulfilled two purposes: 1) It let QASP pseudo-fulfill their promise to shareholders with the least possible investment (and to be able to continue stringing shareholders along with the MJ angle)...and 2) It allowed the previous shop owner to get out with his shirt. I mean, crunch the numbers and you're talking about an almost GIVEAWAY by previous owner here - they gave the previous owner, essentially, what $70k above inventory and equipment? That's nothing for an 'established' business that is supposedly taking in profits. Think about it - the previous owner walked away with a decent 1-yr salary (IF he doesn't have personal debt associated with the business, which would eat into that 70k). That doesn't quite instill confidence that this is a powerhouse profit center, does it, if that's all it takes to makes the previous owner walk away?

As for the grow center idea - I still believe it has merit IF executed well. MJ is tough to grow and conditions need to be just right. This is the real need for the grow house...regulated temperature, lighting, humidity, etc. I could see a need for smaller growers to rent space in a secure, compartmentalized building specially designed and setup to grow MJ. The problem I see (as of now) is: what regulations would prohibit this from being legal based on how states 'authorize' retail growers and/or individuals? In other words, the concept is cool, but is it even a possibility from a legal standpoint right now? Not sure. Maybe someone else can speak to this.

Regardless, all that to say, I have significant doubts that QASP (or whatever they will end up being) could make any of this happen. This small company with 'aerospace' experience has failed to run a successful aerospace business in their field of expertise… why would they somehow become a juggernaut in a completely unrelated field? Don't see it happening. But one can still play the ups and downs. All in my opinion. Best of luck to all.
