The car was for setting a land speed record with a steam engine. One racing magazine who did a story on it said it cost $500k.

Unfortunately, for some reason Cyclone has never put an engine in the car.

They've also got (or had?) a custom built racing boat to set the water speed record, but it's never had an engine, either.
