I wonder if locking up hundreds of millions of shares by the Longs would send an immediate message to the Brokers that might cause a margin call on all those shares that have already been loaned out the shorty...wouldn't that be a very pleasant surprise?

Try it, and see if there is a quick jump in the PPS...it does not cost us anything to mess with shorty...and it might just bear fruit...
