when everyone thinks that a stock will go up and up and that its a "for sure thing".... it usually never is

when people say that a stock is floundering and its going no where but down. and panicked.. it usually doesnt, and instead it goes up..

its like this.... buy stock from people when they are panicked, and sell when they are confident of the sure thing.
thats how the game is played.
