I asked a former colleague, who currently works at a Title company and uses Simplifile daily at work, about Simplifile's fees for the counties. Her response:

"It's free for counties and recording jurisdictions. Site:

Simplifile.com makes money off of us. That's where the $4.50 per document comes in (that fee is different for everyone). For us, i believe, we have all the fees deducted from our account."
