Those cash bonus also are the compensation. Notice no salary mentioned. So I understand the inventors and management needs some coin to jingle in their pockets in San Francisco.

Do you think he gets a fat salary and bonus? I'm not sure.
He is under the heat in the kitchen, must have some compensation for that.

I think its fair and reasonable.
