what you say makes sense, but is not correct. I understand the relative amount to one person and another, but this rule is not just about risk. Its also about holding such a large amount of shares that you may not even be able to sell. think about it. however in a large cap stock say google. you can market sell $25,000 in one second. not a problem. large amount of shares are harder to sell.
