We The People audit the SEC. There are a number of agencies you can report a complaint about the SEC to. The Department of a Labor, the Department of Justice and in some cases the Veterans Administration, NCIS, DOD, FBI, NSA, and other agencies can be called on to act as an "auditing" agency to hold the other agencies accountable for the integrity of their operations and reporting of information. While "working" in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA the SEC does fall under the jurisdiction of the Department of Labor's "hostile work environment" laws and other labor laws when they "working". The SEC is not above the Labor Laws of the state they are conducting business in, the statues of international human rights laws, and laws of conduct on board military posts, ships, or operating zones. The SEC can not abandon a witness, they have laws that govern them, and there are agencies watching their agents like hawks and eagles eyeing and watching the same mountain lion or grizzly bear that rule the ground of any given mountain. The SEC are just as accountable for their charges and activities as a US Marine is accountable for the use of deadly force in combat under specific rules of engagement. Also, since they are remuneration witnesses for their testimony and just like that exchange of a dollar Bill ensures attorney client privilege, the SEC has laws that govern how they operate, the conduct and integrity of their officers. The SEC code of conduct is a standard equivalent to that of US Military Noncommissioned or Commissioned Officers "auditability" to their actions and conduct 24/7-365 days a year through retirement and on through their spouse's survivor benefit-ship.

I am very confident that the SEC is not only transparent and willing to be audited by any agency, and quite often are without even knowing it, but are by nature very accountable for the integrity and morality of their activities to the extent it is in par with our military's accountability for its' officers and NCO corps actions. An SEC lawyer can't sneeze in someone's general direction let alone fart and launch a cow into a castle while taunting the French Archers to " fetche les mâché"
