At CTGX Mining our goal is to proactively engage with the Local Community in an effort to make a positive impact and ensure that the local communities and countries in which we operate are better off economically, socially, and culturally as a result of our activities and presence. Because of the global nature of our business and the diversity of each community (and their needs) in which we operate, we espouse the belief that community development is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach but needs to be customized and developed based on the needs, desires and wants of each community in which we operate. At the local level, we hold public meetings and work with each community and their leaders to identify and develop opportunities for mutually beneficial win-win partnerships. And in working with each community and their individual needs, we can better and more actively support the development of the local social and economic infrastructure. We also can better support community initiatives – especially health, education and business development – so that when our mining operations are completed the local community will be better off for us having been there; and, can better sustain and continue to improve their quality of life.
