Common misconception. No such thing as 'locked shares' that prevent mms from borrowing. MMs can see stop losses as well as what bid is needed to undercut. They can borrow your shares without even touching them by taking advantage of stop losses or unreasonable sell prices. (If your ask is $1 that essentially makes you an ask-sitter and if your stop loss is lower that makes you part of a bid-whack)
