Hi Fight Fans,
Busy month again for us here at The Fight Network…so let's keep things rolling, first off to report The Fight Network has now been added to Videotron's cable systems through out the province of Quebec. Fans there can catch us on channel 116 and it will be in a Free Preview mode for the next two months so check it out or hit. www.videotron.com for more details.

Last point on the Free Preview's…and again just a heads up because we have been getting quite a few inquires from Rogers Digital Cable subscribers (channel 427) that Free Preview ended on Feb 7th …so don't delay call Rogers today to subscribe only $1.99 per month plus tax. www.rogers.com for more details.
Now on with programming updates… news coverage and analysis is something we have been planning to work into our programming line up since the channel launched back in September; well I'm happy to report that beginning on Friday March 3rd The Fight Network will begin to produce Pre And Post Fight News Coverage on the channel for all major Pay-Pre-View (PPV) events from the boxing, mixed martial arts and kick boxing world. The first event we will cover will be Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) 58 USA vs. Canada which will also mark the first time in television history that a mixed martial arts weigh-in has been covered in its entirety by a national network in North America.
The UFC® 58 weigh -in coverage will be seen on The Fight Network beginning on Friday March 3rd at 12 midnight EST and will be repeated on the channel at various times on Saturday leading up to the event. UFC® 58 which will be seen LIVE on PPV from the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas Nevada on Saturday March 4th. (visit www.viewerschoice.ca ) on how to order this event in Canada.
Then beginning on Sunday March 5th at 11am EST and through out the day catch the post fight coverage and analysis hosted by Fight Network reporter Ryan Bennett.
Speaking of PPV events Fight Network; is also please to announce that we have obtain the rights to air Jungle Fights 1 on PPV this month on Viewers Choice Canada starting March 17th
(St. Patrick's Day) at 8pm EST. This Mixed Martial Arts tournament took place at the basin of the Amazon River and was designed to bring about awareness to the destruction at hand that is happening everyday in the rain forest. The event was produced by legendary fighter and wrestler Antonio Inoki and mixed martial artist Wallid Ismail. Jungle Fights features such fighters as Renato "Babalu" Sobral, Pele Landy, and Stephan Bonnar from The Ultimate Fighter® reality series. Other news items in brief to keep an eye on this month you will be seeing some more changes coming to fightnetwork.com as the site will be added more video and audio features from around the fight world to keep you informed. Fight Network's online Shop Zone is getting closer to launching in what looks to be an April start date. More details to follow in next month newsletter, as we have had quite a few of you who have pinged us to inquire about when you can buy Fight Network stuff, its coming…thank you again for your interest in that.
