I doubt there were restrictions on the share transfer....when you need cash and have no collateral or products and poor history, you are at their mercy.....that's why he is so desperate to get news out ( Facebook / Twitter/ Smoke signals / Sky Writing / Anything )...if the volume dries up now, he is screwed because it will go to no bid even faster this time.
