Smart Ventures, Inc. is on a path to tremendous growth and increased revenue. The company is continuing its business plan. The CEO, Roger Smith have been offshore supervising drilling operations on platform for the past 50 days. Thus, his communication with fellow stakeholders has been limited. We ask our fellow stakeholders to please refrain from contacting companies we contract with and provide services too, because it creates issues for the company’s contract relations. We understand the desire to conduct personal due diligence, but our vendors have asked us to find a way to get that under control as it disrupts their business with all the emails and phone calls. We will keep our shareholders informed.
The Sanday Corporation has begun its drilling contract with BP in Azerbaijan through Merlin ERD.
Our Cannabis Funding Group, LP fund manager, Marcel de Rushe has been on a fund raising campaign to reach our goal of $100,000,000. He has released the private placement memorandum for investors to subscribe for limited partnership units @ $50,000 per unit. Our Cannabis Funding Group has received several calls and emails of interest from companies in the cannabis business seeking strategic funding both in the US and Canada. We have a great pool of companies in the cannabis space to choose from as portfolio companies. We have also had meetings and discussions with several accredited and institutional investors for direct investment in both Cannabis Funding Group, LP. We hope to begin funding our joint venture partners in the Cannabis industry soon, which will generate we believe significant revenue as we will own a considerable equity stake in those ventures.
We have been approached by many oilfield companies seeking joint venture opportunities and we are conducting due diligence on several potential acquisition candidates to increase revenue, assets and profits.
