Average internet speed in United States is 27 Mbps as of today. 7/31/14 it was at 26.4 and prior to that it was a bit slower as well. It's been increasing weekly.

The ISP's are preparing for an increase in traffic and are finally starting to make it possible for EVERYONE, ANYWHERE, to stream.
