Just to build on the vision idea. (Which would mean Moses and Elijah didn't need to be alive to appear in a vision.) The same word for vision is used in: Acts 9:10 -- "In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision," Acts 10:3 -- (Cornelius) "saw in a vision clearly," Acts 10:17 -- "While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision" Also vs 19 Acts 11:5 -- "I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision." Acts 12:9 -- "he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision" (Interesting that this verse describes reality as something different than a vision) Acts 16:9 -- "During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him,....." Acts 18:9 -- "One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: ...."
