Many, many pinkies and BB's hire these people to get the word out in a promo and pay them to do it.
Unfortunately, these companies cannot control the crimminal actions of these groupes.
Bottom line is I don't think the companies are engaging in improper prmotional attemps to get the word out.
It is unfortunate that this type of promotional activity goes on, however it lies at the feet of the crooks that do the crimminal trading.
Personally, I don't think these promo firms should be allowed to take shares in their client companies or trade in them for one year after signing a deal with them. Also these promo firms should only be retained on a "cash only" basis.
Just my 2 cents on this issue.
