What on earth is the DR trying to accomplish with this crap? They are contractually obligated to turn over 50% of all recovered artifacts to Deep Blue.
The other company has already filed a lawsuit...and they are under a subcontract, with the main contract belonging to the Punta Canta tourist board, which provides more tourist dollars to the DR than anyone else.
So, stupidly, it appears the DR is holding back the division from the DR!!!
I just don't know. I thought perhaps that all the treasure had "disappeared", but my sources are confident the treasure is still there and in the conservatories. With corruption being uncovered almost daily down there, they couldn't be dumb enough to be holding out for bribes.
Seems to be too many chefs...I'm pretty confident Deep Blue has a new contract or extension in place from one branch....but they will not dive without first receiving what they are legally entitled to from the last three years from another branch....and who can blame them?
I do think we are only days away from getting this settled....but if I were in charge, I'd make sure a division was required every 30 days....and I'd strongly suggest a little extra be added to make up for all the time and money this has cost Deep Blue and it's investors over the past year.
