Picked up the 5,10,20 MA thing from wizetrdr, he has a IHUB board.
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=4809

I find as the 5,10,20 lines all come together, jumble, the stock is ready for a move. Normally the move will be called by 5,10,20, a little before the DMI indicator. And a safer entry will be called by the BLACK ADX DMI line, crossing up on the next line it has to cross which is above.

You can find more DMI info at:http://www.atomicbobs.com/index.php?board=189

I use 5,10,20 to tell me the move will be positive or negative, then check the DMI to see it mirrored and confirmation of the move continuing, when the ADX crosses. As you can see, I don't play initial changes & runs, but swing trade moves that have been confirmed.

In trading this way one always looses allot of the run. But the following trades are safer. I never care what I miss, only what I get, so I don't really care what the stock did before or does after. As long as I get my target goals for profits, during.
