This story needs to continue to be hammered home to the general public. When I initially heard about giving cannabis to children, I cringed until I got the details. If this girl lived past the doctor's predictions prior to using cannabis, that is huge. How many more success stories are there like this one? We need some statistics, or more visibility to it. It's one thing for Americans to change their minds about cannabis, but if stories like this continue to surface, they will demand change in the laws and the feds will have to listen. Our system of government is an illusion in many ways, but there are times when people are able to make a stand and effect legislation in a meaningful and powerful way. This is one of those times.
