Does anyone out there think that this is a reasonable assumption or does anyone think the MM's have left the building? This post is from RB Boards (Gahk!) but it seems to be an angle worth looking at, IMO. Nez

Does this sound logical? If I were the MM, I'll try to bring the price down as much as I can before 7 April. So several parties of MMs will gang up to do this. One party buys & another party sells at an agreed price and it gets gradually lower all the way till 7 April.

Why? Cos, you can buy gadzillion more shares at a much cheaper price & obtain more dividend stock when the time comes.

Not holding any stock in this company yet. I plan to buy in but adopting a wait & see to see whether the price falls further. I'm just a retail investor and I need to piggy back when the MMs do their bidding. Us retail investors just don't have the clout that MMs have.

What are yr thoughts? Just exploring this angle.
