Television networks have a schedule daily of the commercials being aired. I am sure when the company signed the contract to pay to air the commercials, they knew in advance the days and times they were paying for.

Different times of the day = different rate.

If XUII paid to have their commercials air Friday and there was space available, then the commercials will air Friday.
