Prior to me writing the statement you commented on I had said that if it went up it won't stay there too long. That was another post which is not far below. Now back to my statement you comment on and was to the reply you gave. Nothing is cut and dry as you put it. In a more realistic sense and worldly manner, the prise of a stock will go up without any revenue based on speculation and anticipation because people are hoping it will produce something in the future. It may also go up because people wouldn't want to pay high for the stock later because they think it will be costlier in the future based on thier hope of it making money. But if it doesn't produce revenue and there is diminished anticipation or no hope at all, the market will correct the price and bring it lower. Which means the market is saying why should I pay high for a stock that is not producing revenue.
