Hopefully IMSC would pass on being acquired in the near future, since it's value will be significantly more in say, 36 months. At that point the company will be more or less debt free, generating annual revenue of plus-or-minus $50 million worldwide, and on the NASDAQ. I look for a good start on that eventuality within 60 days, especially if the company earns a sole source contract for the 560 units the TSA states it plans to purchase before the end of the government's FY14, meaning before October 1. Not that that is a guarantee, or even a likelihood; the TSA could award contracts to Implant and its two competitors. However, if -- big IF -- Implant got a sole source contract, the government would get a significant break on per unit pricing, I assume. If the units go for between $25K and $30K each, revenue would be between $14 million and $17 million. Perhaps a service and parts component could bring the order to that $20 million threshold required for recent stock options to kick in. The TSA has said that it plans to purchase 2260 additional units in FY15. If the per unit price were $25,000, that's another $56 million in revenue. If (lot of IFs, I know) margins were, to pick a number, 42 percent, that would mean between $6 to $7+ million in FY14 to almost $24 million in FY15. Large TSA purchases would start a cascade of sales to other
U.S. government agencies, in particular the State Department, and governments around the globe. The latest TSA document detailing desired advances in technology and products over the next one or two years means more upgrades and replacements in fairly short order. So a fairly steady revenue stream of $50 million annually, with good, not great, profits, is entirely within reasonable expectations ASSUMING Implant gets a nice portion of orders planned over the next year and a half. In fact, those of us who have owned the stock for a few years or more have counted on such a scenario. We'll know shortly if patience is, indeed, a virtue.
