Question about the company and miranda.

I'm new to the stock and this board but do have several friends in the stock who met with current management in New York last month. Two of those friends are sizable oil and gas investors. This site does not have much traffic related to VYEY, but there are negative comments that I'd like to better understand. Can someone help?

Several posts would indicate this Miranda fellow was a good guy, however based on historic financial reports it appears that most of the revenue and new capital the company raised from 2009-2012 was paid to this Miranda persons accounting company. He seemed to serve in numerous roles that I'm confused about. My friends also tell me the former auditor mentioned was fired because of public failures related to Miranda accounting methods. What is the correct story here? I really like the fairway (sp?) they announced and would like to buy more stock.
