"Date for a dollar" rules?

If I am entering a contest, I have a question.

I wanna know if the winner is determined by the closest guessed date to the event, (i.e. "overs and unders"), Or is it "The Price is Right" rules where as the clock sweeps past midnight on your day, you are disqualified.(?)

Either way I say QTMM will break a dollar on Jan 22, 2015.

Are you gonna spring for a trophy? By then you could afford it! Ha!
