Why would I want to invest in a company whose management is that stupid? If it makes excellent business sense to move offshore, then the company should do so. Companies should be loyal and support their stockholders, not a government.

Ask Mark Cuban if he donates money to the US Treasury. For that matter, ask him if his accountants/advisers work to reduce his tax liability. If they do, he's just a hypocrite.

I think Judge Learned Hand's ruling still holds.

"Over and over again courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging one's affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everybody does so, rich or poor; and all do right, for nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands: taxes are enforced exactions, not voluntary contributions. To demand more in the name of morals is mere cant."

Commissioner v. Newman, 159 F2d 848 (1947)

However, the point is moot. The reason for moving to England would be to reduce the interference of the FDA and other agencies, not taxes.
