Maybe you should read into this a bit more and read a little less Matt Finston. Perhaps take a look at a more complete overview like that provided in articles by rise51 (feel free to google "rise51 fitx"), which concentrate more on the facts other than a lack of DD covered up by the beautifully written drool provided in some pieces. A lot of the info provided on these sites are incomplete so I would encourage you to dig a bit deeper. Please feel free to listen to the city of Lakeshore town meeting (

) and see what you think. From my take it sounds as if zoning will not be an issue as Fitx should be grandfathered in. The Mayor himself stated, "this is going to happen" (marijuana will be grown in the town of Lakeshore). A decision was not made at the meeting regarding zoning and that was put off for a later date, IMO to allow time for Fitx to hold an open house and help address concerns with the people of Lakeshore. The absurd worry over the odor of marijuana staying in ones clothing is almost laughable and gives me flashbacks of "Reefer Madness". The smell of marijuana smoke which is much stronger than that of fresh marijuana dissipates at a much faster rate than that of cigarettes. It's like saying you don't want your neighbor to be allowed to smoke cigarettes because your wardrobe may become contaminated, or if they produce tobacco a mile from my house that my concern would be that someone may think I smoke because I smell of tobacco. Good luck to you, but please dig deeper into the truth before you sell off.
