Having completed the morning ablutions Red I was slammed by a thunder bolt. I've been wrong about you Red.

You are a national treasure. You belong up on Mt. Rushmore. I think we could neatly squeeze you in between Teddy Roosevelt and Abe Lincoln. I see you with a blazing torch held high leading the scared and screaming villagers against Dr. Frankenstein's tall bogeyman.

I got the word from Sally last night Red. And it's documented.

The president, playing golf with his buddies on the Cape yesterday sliced his drive into the woods on the 8th tee.

"Mulligan?" he asked.

His buddies nodded. You don't refuse your president a mulligan.

He reached into his pocket for another Titleist. As he pulled it out a small card, not unlike the king in a pack of Bicycles, fell to the ground, unnoticed.

As the foursome walked off down the 8th fairway Sally picked up the card. It was a membership card. The president was a card-carrying communist!

Sally called Hally. Hally called Drew. The wires were buzzing now. Within thirty minutes we all knew. Even Hugo and Kim.
