It's not a rumor. CNBC showed Ma on stage saying he wants to buyout Yahoo, (back in May filing time, Squack on Street the early morning show).

A hostile bid is likely as too prevent that from happening (and a bidding war if so, even Apple might join in for Flury in memory of Jobs...)

I see Yahoo at 180/share within 18 months.
