One thing that often goes with no debt companies is large cash reserves. If they don't have that they don't have Avery good chance of funding potential products or other things that make companies money. Also having no debt can hinder getting debt from lenders because you have no history of credit.

But edigs case is even worse. Their no debt claims are meaningless and maybe even detrimental but one thing for sure it is telling that they have nothing going on and they don't have cash reserves to make things happen.
They have lucked into a situation where they don't have many expenses other than salaries, benefits, retirements for a few and litigation sharing. Nothing that will grow the company and it sustains the status quo and some get to say he edig is ok because they have no debt. Debt is clearly not understood when it's about edig.
