Let me explain how HRAA reached the 900 number and I know because I was in the room when they did it. HRAA spent 10 years being run from the owners home. During this time the biggest source of marketing was the free frequent presentations and webinars that they offered. When a healthcare professional attended any of their 30-60 min sessions they counted the professional's employer as a "client". Even this liberal interpretation only led to a count of 253 "clients". Then the owners decided that if they counted everyone that attended a industry conference where they were a speaker, regardless of whether anyone actually attended the HRAA presentation or not, the number would be much higher. Lacking any way to calculate this number they concluded that 900 sounded good and the owner who were the CEO & COO at the time mandated that all documents reflect this number.
