That's how I got started investing many moons ago. We formed an investment club also. We dissolved it after a few months. Couldn't get folks to agree to anything. Hard to get 10 different people on the same page. Lots of ideas but, everyone wanted to buy something different.

IMO, investment clubs are a good way to get started. I prefer to be in control of my investments (money), but that's just me.

I wouldn't give up on this stock just yet. I'm in a couple that might make a come back. I been sitting on one for over a year and it's starting to show a little life.

Same thing happened to a group of folks at work. They begged me to join. Of course I never did. 6 months later they all went their separate ways.
