Yes, alot of positive feedback plus others saying they can't believe a channel like that exists and can't wait to get it. A guy actually said it would motivated him to buy a tv and get cable!

The message boards is where you start a grass roots marketing campaign. TFN should place banner ads on sherdog.net and ads in Real Fighter and other MMA mags. A great way to reach the target market. Another strategy might be to send T shirts and other promotional items to the big MMA schools.

Sponsoring the Toronto MMA expo is a great idea, but I'd like to see more effort in the US.
