You are correct, Those numbers that show as " short" are most likely not even short in the traditional sense, ( retail). It's more likely an mM filling an order that they didn't have all the shares for, and is only counted as short in the sense of a temporary imbalance in the count.

There is NO short intetst on most any OTC , especially pinks.
