Thanks for posting. The blood brain barrier serve the purpose of protecting not only the brain from noxious substances entering it but also other sensitive areas of the body such as the nucleus of cells where our DNA is b protected by the BBB from damage by toxic substances. Being that these are plastic polymers they will probably be seen as toxins by the liver and then they then would be interacting with the host system. If they are now finding that these nano particles that cross the BBB are damaging to the liver that could mean game over and my guess is that they knew about it all along.

Great theory though.

They would almost assuredly have to have known about this and may explain why this has not gone into tox for such an extended period of time.

Cat might be getting out of the bag soon.
