I think a large number of people are taking profits, after a big run, and are not waiting to be around if the price really drops. Their actions turn into a self fulfilling prophecy and they bring the price down through a herd mentality. I repeatedly get messed up by this thinking, due to thinking the stock should do well because it is a good stock.
