It depends on the procedure. I do a fair number of robotic partial nephrectomies, which is a fairly technical procedure, far more complicated than a lap chole. I use 2 robotic arms on the Davinci(two 8mm, two 12mm, +/- 5mm trocar). The surgeon can only control 2 arms at any given time. The most important 3rd arm is the assistant with a suction! Bleeding can quickly make a smooth case deteriorate. The suction usually can double as a retractor. I don't see it as a major disadvantage not having a 3rd arm on this first iteration of the SPORT platform.
I really look at our situation like the automobile industry as it came about in the early 20th century. Henry Ford is ISRG. TITXF is GM. There are opportunities to fill niches and are ripe for the picking. Cost and mobility are major advantages. It is totally impractical to move the DaVinci from room to room on a regular basis. The SPORT is more like an ESWL unit that can be taken from room to room or between hospitals(available certain days of the week). I just don't see ISRG being the only robotic platform of its kind in perpetuity. It could be someone besides Titan, but no one else on the horizon. All IMO.
