---- IMO, Boyer was so unsophisticated in business that he didn't understand that the rights to IP developed under contract need to be specified in that contract and e.Digital took advantage of the situation. Boyer probably assumed that since he paid for product development, he owned what was developed.
Additionally, it is my understanding that the IP was actually from Ittiam and Divx. I doubt there was anything important in the IP developed by e.Digital - just a stance to keep orders for digEplayers going through e.Digital so they could get a mark-up.
