last year when people started acting like the bitches I'm seeing here, Ed went quiet for months.
Ed doesn't "owe" anyone a PR, and it's childish to say so out loud. The only thing Ed "owes" us is his best day's work towards hitting goals. We weren't expecting that PR the other day - he threw us a bone.
Regarding the app, I've worked in enterprise level national rollouts, and I have to say I think Ed was ambitious on the date. I absolutely do not believe, and it would not be smart for the app to be released until it passes extensive as hell testing. It has to be bulletproof, and it would be unprofessional to release it until it's ready to rock. When it's done, it'll get here, and nobody owes anybody a day by day testing update.
And I seriously doubt that the Forbes guy that surrounds himself with corporate winners and attorneys is going to leave a significant "gotcha" hanging out there.
Keep looking though - it's entertaining.
